You can enjoy Hog Island fishing spot year round for redfish & trout. There is an 8' deep channel that runs along the East side of Hog Island. Flats fishing on the North and West side of island. Just to the North of the island is Hog Island Hole were it can be as deep as 5'.
Great area to drift fish the North & West sides with shallow water craft. You'll find 4 gas rigs on the East side of Hog Island fishing spot that can yield some nice catches.
You'll find that Hog Island is one of the best fishing spots around the Redfish Bay area. Species you'll find plentiful are Speckled Sea Trout and Redfish.
Easiest access to Hog Island is to launch from Fin & Feather Marina and take channel to the North under the causeway and you'll run right into Hog Island.
